lol.
I have some kidney stones that have been knocking around for several weeks (the pain has been pretty bad lately, which is why I am getting behind on my blogs, which is really bumming me out).
I've been listening to "All Things Must Pass" on repeat for the last hour or so, hoping to send subliminal messages to my kidneys - let's get this show on the road already!

See a doctor about those kidney stones. George is soothing, but you need a medico, amigo. This is a very serious matter.

My husband went through that a few months ago... I sympathize with you.
Indeed, I hope some Harrison Therapy does the trick!!!!!
Feel better soon!!!

Instead, as wonderful and soothing as George's music is, kidney stones are nothing to play around with and are a serious medical condition. George may be a lover, but he ain't no doctor!
I really think it would be in your interest to receive medical treatment for those kidney stones.

oh, don't worry about me, guys! I have been seeing a doctor, for sure! It was 2.5 weeks ago today that I ended up in the ER with bag after bag of IV fluid and Fentanyl for the pain every 25 minutes. I had renal colic and it was BAD. Once the "episode" had passed (which took several hours) and the pain was gone, they sent me home with some "tools" to collect any stones that may pass and a referral to a urologist, who I saw a 2 weeks ago. They're giving me until the end of the month to "produce" and if I have no proof of having passed them, they'll do another CT scan to see where they are, if they are being blocked, causing damage, etc.
In the meantime, I am drinking about a gallon of water a day (I know I was dehydrated for a while, and that is the #1 cause of stones). The other suggestion they had was to cut back on meat consumption but I don't eat meat, so that's not a problem.
I'm mostly ok, just really groggy from the Flomax they gave me to help move things along. I'm almost a week behind on my blogs and it's killing me because that is my ONE passion, you know? And they're fairly new and it was filling such a great space in my life to have those to give my attention to. But in addition to my own health issues, my daughter is also having some health issues and ALSO one of our rats as well, and she just had surgery today and so that's been stressful, keeping her away from her cagemate, trying to keep her from chewing her stitches, etc. etc. So really I am just exhausted. LOL.
So any of you that are checking the blogs, please don't lose all hope and forget about them. lol. I'll be back to them soon!
But really, thanks for the concern. I appreciate it.

Also, I just wanted to clarify. I wasn't actually thinking that the wonderful healing properties of George's voice would indeed better my health. I was just making a dorky joke.
You know? All things must pass + passing kidney stones = HA HA HA.
I know. I'm a dweeb.
Although sometimes I think his voice could move mountains if instructed to do so. :)

LOL. That really did make me laugh out loud. I wish it could be as simple as them blowing away. That sounds way less painful. lol.

This line always gives me the shivers. It's such a huge thing - what we could really accomplish - but so few people see it, but it's right there, right in front of us.
Well, I wish with our love, we could evict these kidney stones. Let's all close our eyes and collectively will them away. lol.

yeah, I don't really need to add to the arsenal of drugs the ER docs sent me home with. Based on what they gave me, I am inclined to believe that when they really get going, it's going to HURT.
I've got my supply ready and waiting. And waiting. And waiting.
