LOL I was watching Oprah last week (ok sothis is a little late I just remembered this) and Al Gore was on there and he's so kewl now. Oprah asked him what his fav band was and he didn't even hesitate. He's like "the Beatles!" So if you care, I thought I'd let you know. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

I heard about that too. Maybe the guy isn't as boring as he seems to be?

LOL I know he does appear boring. I just heard Bush was in my hometown and he ate at our diner Watsons Drugs. That Thing You DO was filmed there. And that's when I remembered the Oprah with Gore. I should register to vote but I don't like any of the candidates.

this/that: I just love the film, "That Thing You Do." It was so clever. Tom Hanks is brilliant! As for Gore liking the Beatles: good for him! At least he shows some taste. Whether that's enough to capture my vote is another story...

Gore is at the age where he grew up listening to the Beatles when he was a mere mortal like the rest of us.
