I just love stories about the Harrisons. George was literally born into love.
I can well imagine Louise telling her only daughter when George was on the way, "this new little Harrison (verbiage she used when Peter's 3rd child was on the way in a newsletter) can be your baby, too. You can take care of him or her and everything."
Lou probably chatted up her friends with tales of "our George's" latest developmental milestones and exploits, e.g. "Our George has just learned to walk;" "Our George is getting into everything, he is;" "Our George follows after Peter, now, doing everything Peter is doing;" "Our George is a big lad of 15, now. He has even gotten together a band!" and later, "Our George is doing very well in England. I've just received a letter posted a week ago saying that George and his band are going places in Europe and are quite successful;" "My little brother George is 20 now, and taller than me, he is. He'll be here with my other brother, Peter and you'll get to hear him [George] sing." And in 1964, "That's my brother George. I told you he was in a famous band. They were famous in Europe long before they came here. That's George, the first boy off the plane. I told you he was famous."
Meanwhile, back in England, you can imagine Louise regaling her friends and neighbors with stories of George's success, e.g. "One fan sent a box of jelly babies from California for George. She even sent his picture from when he [George] came to America!"; "George was on the telly last week with the other boys and we had some of our family and some neighbors came round to watch;" "George found an interest and it makes him happy. He's a very talented lad, he is!"
