Pat Kinzer Mancusco of the George Harrison Fan Club got to meet most of George's family including his nieces and nephews. Since they lived in the UK they must have been either Harry or Peter's kids. Come to think of it, I vaguely remember seeing a photo of one of George's nephews in the grounds of Friar Park.

Harry has at least one son, whose name is Paul. He appears as a young boy in a photo included on Pattie Boyd's book, he's walking on the stepping stones in Friar Park lake. As per the photo, he must have been born circa 1968.
Peter had several children, I know for sure one was named Mark born in 1973 ( he's most probably the baby in the pram which appears on the Living in the Material World inner folder) and apparently he was George's favourite nephew.
Of course there are also Lou's children, Gordon ( recently passed away ) and Leslie.

I got some more info on Peter,

Peter leaves Pauline, three children — Ian, 39, Linda, 37, and Mark, 35 — and four grandchildren — Sophie, 9, Felix, 6, Adam, 6, and two-and-a-half-year old, Peter-John (P-J).

As the obituary is from 2007, Ian must be 42, Linda 40 and Mark 38

With ALL the photos we've seen of George, I surely woulda thought that the other Harrison kids would have had their beautiful faces shown somewhere.
I know Lou had children (so sad about her son... a parents' worst nightmare to have a child go before them)

come to think of it, I participated on the live chat with thenewnº2 a few months ago. At a certain point, Dhani mentioned his cousin "Potato" Harrison, who he said " was no longer here" ( I understand like he was dead). Of course, Dhani might be refering to Gordon, but his surname was Caldwell, so I tend to believe it was one of Peter or Harry children.

The Harrisons were/are a lovely family.

Harold Jr. and Irene were blessed with children. They had a son named Paul, dob 1/15/1960; daughters Janice 8/27/1962 and Linda, 12/1/1969.

Harold Sr. & Louise were "Uncle Hal" and "Aunt Lou" to their nieces and nephews. They were "Dad" and "Mum" to the Harrison 4. George spoke his first word at 6 months, according to Louise.

Louise was a name inscribed deeply and indelibly on the heart of George Harrison. The youngest Beatle and youngest of the Harrison 4 was so well loved from the moment of his very conception. It would not surprise me if Louise told her only daughter that "this new baby can be your baby, too." George's sister talks about her newborn brother to this day. :smile1: George's maternal "nan" was named Louisa; he was the son of Louise; brother of Louise and uncle to Leslie Louise, his sister's child.

Harold Sr. and Louise sounded like genuinely lovely people. They were tolerant and supportive. Harold Sr. let George keep his long wavy locks when most men would crop their sons. Louise helped him develop his musical muse and has generally been described as a kind, loving person. She was one of the few people who didn't bar a young rebel named John Lennon from her home. It was Louise who saw the scared, hurt and even sad boy behind the quasi-Ted tough-guy facade. It was Louise who insisted George do the right thing and offer his condolences to John when Julia died.

The boys were welcomed to practice in the Harrison home and Louise was one to serve them jam butties, beans and toast, tea and other light refreshments. The senior Harrisons were known for their kindness and hospitality to George's fans. Pictures taken of their living room in 1964 show a George shrine - pictures of George everywhere, even on top of the TV (telly)! A beaming Harold Sr. shows the living room proudly from his chair while Louise takes an inviting place on the couch, ready to receive her company. Yes, the Harrisons are a truly lovely family.

Dhani was being cheeky. :) That was when he was discussing nicknames and things. One of the people in chat misheard and thought Dhani had said 'Potato Harrison' and typed that with a "?" :smile1: Dhani was being silly when he saw it scroll by and exclaimed, "Potato Harrison - my cousin!" :laugh5: Silly guy...

About Paul ( Harry's son) if he was born in 1960 ( which makes sense as Irene and Harry married in le late '50's), then the boy in the photo which appears on Pattie's book cannot be him. George didn't buy FRiar Park until 1970 and the kid in the photo is too small for a 10 year old. I assume he must be Ian, son of Peter, which should have been born in 1967-1968 if he was 39 in 2007, and Pattie just got the wrong nephew

George's oldest brother married in 1958 and Peter in January of 1965.

Thanks to Louise [French], we know now that Peter was a whopping 12 pounds at birth; his oldest brother 9 and George 10!

Imagine that - ectomorphic never been heavy a day in his life George starting out at 10 pounds!

Ringo started out at 10 pounds, but he was not a large person down the road.

George Harrison was a whopping 10 pound newborn, but his brother Peter had him beaten by 2 pounds. Imagine Louise delivering this 12 pound baby without benefit of anesthesia!

I'll wager the older children stayed at their Nan's with their maternal grandfather and that their Nan acted as midwife.

Peter was Linda's father. Harold Jr. was the father of Paul and Jan. (Notice that the generations below the senior Harrisons all had those Harold Sr. eyes).

That's sad Peter died from cancer too. That has to be heart wrenching for the two remaining siblings. I wonder if Louise's son also died from cancer .

Her son Gordon Robert Caldwell died from colon cancer in January of 2010.

True....Louise lost a mother and a son and a brother to cancer.

On the bright side, Lou is quite a dynamo! I think Lou is so adorable. She is quite an outgoing personality (she sounds a lot like Louise French) and she loves all her brothers. I love it when she tells Harrison family stories. I love French & Harrison stories and I can't wait for her book to come out!

I'm new here, and I'm sorry, but I'm confused. Did both Harry and Peter Harrison have daughters named Linda?

Beatlebangs mentioned Paul, Jane and Linda as children of Harry and Irene. I thought Harry and Irene only had a son Paul and a daughter Irene.
Can you clarify this for me??

Linda is Peter's daughter. Peter and Pauline were blessed with 3 children.

Peter died in 2007.
