My son was Link from Legends of Zelda last year. I don't know what he wants to be this year.

I get invited to a grown-up Halloween Theme party every year. Last year, everyone was a zombie and we 'paraded' through the neighborhood lile zombies.

This year, the theme is come dressed as a song title. So far, I have no ideas...

I probably will not be dressing up. But if I could, I would go as either Queen Elizabeth I or Marie Antoinette. The costumes are either hard to find or too expensive.

My husband and I will be going to a Halloween party as a member of a hair metal band and Cyndi Lauper. Our costumes are homemade and I'm excited to put it all together.

I'm going as Mr. Kite ;) I'm going to borrow my sister's jacket and wear hippie pants and attach a little kite pin to the jacket. I also need to figure out what to do with my hair (it's kind of long). This is going to be so much fun!

I'm going as Mr. Kite ;) I'm going to borrow my sister's jacket and wear hippie pants and attach a little kite pin to the jacket. I also need to figure out what to do with my hair (it's kind of long). This is going to be so much fun!

Just an idea, you could tie your hair with a few bows down the length of the ponytail so that they look like kite tails.

My husband bought a Joker costume for me to wear at a party. It came with a mask, but I didn't wear it because masks make me claustrophobic. Besides, I think make up looks much better. So I put cold cream on my face and applied flour over it. Then I burned some paper to make ash and rubbed it around my eyes. Then I used red lipstick. It worked out very well.

Today at school I wore a hippie dress. However, the last time I wore that dress was last Halloween, and I probably grew a foot since then. I had to pair the dress with teal leggings so I wouldn't get suspended for dress code. I'm still wondering what I should wear ON Halloween.

I had a bunch of kids over tonight, so when they came they started singing, I said afterwards "sorry my hearing is somewhat bad, can you do it somewhat louder please" hahahah that was gold to hear that shouting :teeth1:

We, my son and I, had so much fun this evening....
Some kids were too scared to come closer. My son was the evil one who opened the door.... I was sitting outside by the fireplace pretending I had nothing to do with it. I only kept the fire running. Later we changed places and I put the mask on...
One kid asked my son: do you speak Dutch? My son said...uh? :nono3::nono3:He asked that about 3 times and got the same answer...uh? :nono3:The kid looked at me and said: I think he speaks English... LOL
