World's Ugliest Dog Dies

Miss Ellie, a Chinese Crested Hairless and the 2009 winner of Animal Planet's "World's Ugliest Dog" contest, has died in Tennessee at age 17.

According to The Mountain Press, Ellie was the star of shows at a resort in the Smoky Mountains. She also appeared on the Animal Planet cable show "Dogs 101" and had graced billboards and commercials with her face.... CONT. That is one butt ugly dog.

Chows and Shar-peis have ass shaped heads and they are ugly too. I just like their curly tails. Akitas have ugly heads, but they have such rich, soft fur and beautiful curly taills.

Aw, that's just cruel. Looks shouldn't matter when you love your pet, she was actually kind of cute with a sort of silly and harmless countenance. RIP Miss Ellie.

Ugly dogs need love too.

Just like buzzards. That poor bird didn't pick its looks any more than Miss Ellie. That poor bird gets dissed all because it eats carrion, ain't too cute and smells bad. For Pete's sake, we don't eat live organic matter either. That poor buzzard and poor Miss Ellie can't help how they look. They need love too.

I love all dogs, ugly or not. I especially love hounds and fat, cuddly pugs.

She got a lot of love. Dogs need a lot of love and I think that increases their life span.
