Hi there, all.

Just wanted to say a proper hello. I'm 30, live in San Francisco, and of course, grew up loving The Beatles' records.

My favorite Beatle is George, with full credit given to the others...

My fave songs are (in no particular order):
"If I Needed Someone"
"Savoy Truffle"
"I Dig a Pony"
"If I Fell"
"And Your Bird Can Sing"
"You Know My Name, Look Up My Number"

And least faves:
"Revolution 9."
"The Inner Light."
"The Fool On The Hill"
"Mr. Moonlight."
"Don't Let Me Down"

I guess that's a start...

Hello Andrea. Welcome to the forums, and thanks for participating.
You're the same Andrea that runs the MONO site, right? Among other Beatles obessions (and believe me - I have a lot of them), I'm a huge mono/stereo freak. I think the mono White Album deserves to be commercialy released. It's almost like a different album.

Yes, that's me. I agree about the White Album - if you haven't heard the mono mix, you haven't heard it the album at all... ditto for the mono Pepper, for that matter.

BTW, anyone know the etymology of "Taxman"? I've got a West German (heh!) stereo Revolver LP that doesn't have the 1..2..3..4..1..2.. at the beginning... weird.
