Why is Liverpool called this sometimes? Ain't no "D" in "Liverpool!" :confused: :thinker:

John Lennon made up Liddypool as a wonderful bit of prose for those Scousers who could understand it. It first appeared in the newspaper Mersey Beat, and then in John's first book.

There is a book by the same name by David Bedford... an AMAZING BOOK!
David is also from Liddypool. :)
