So, when you wanted to discuss those other bands, you should have come here instead, and started a new topic. That way those that were interested could answer back, and those that didn't wouldn't have to slog through it to find the thread of the original discussion.

And we try to save personal chit-chat for email or IM. Also, we don't tolerate meanness, and after you kept ignoring our other pleas to move your topic elsewhere, we naturally assumed your meanness was intended to be taken as such, and got up in arms, as it were.

We were maybe a little harsh, but as a parent, I don't take being ignored very well at all... even on a message board, even by someone who is not my child.

All Beatle fans are welcome, but we have a few rules, and we'd like everyone to play by the rules...
