I need some input from you guys. Which outtakes do you want to have, let me know and I see what I can put up on my site. There are limits, I will have only 5 mp3 files up at one time, and I can only upload songs that are 3 minutes max.. I will not promise anything, but in the case I see sugestions and I am able to put the reguested songs up I'll do so. Also the files will stay on for a limited period of time.
Curently I have up.

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Early version from acetate.

All Things Must Pass - Paul McCartney Live in Rome 10 May 2003

Maggie Mae - Paul McCartney Live In Liverpool 1 June 2003

Bad To Me
John's demo of the song they gave away to Billy J Kramer and The Dakota's

One and One Is Two
Short McCartney demo, of a not so good song which the Beatles gave away to The Strangers With Mike Shannon.

If the proposed 'Take 1' project never happened, it would be a great idea to resurrect it via your site, Legs... graemlins/thumbsup2.gif Â

I think we all have the take 1's in our colection already, we can just burn a cd ourselves if we want. If we want to resurrect the project, we need more activity around here and more involvement. If someone needs a take 1 of a song I can put it up, but I never hear anything back.

First I will put up some Lennon demo's, then some of the early BBC tracks.

I've updated the download page with two Lennon demo's.
That's The Way The World Is and Baby Make Love To You.

Legs,

These are some real interesting Gems!

I love hearing Lennon songs in their embryonic stages.

Which compilations did you pull the non-McCartneys from?

That first bootleg mentioned for George, with the date, I don't know if I have the material, I think I do, but I am not sure what's on it.

Thanks UB, the Lennon demo's are from Free As A Bird - The Dakota Beatle Demos.
It's funny that I just removed the songs, "Bad To Me" and "One and One is Two", which I pulled from Acetates, while you uploaded the complete Acetates disc. The "Sgt. Peppers" acetate is from Yellow Dog's re-released Acetates, this time as double cd.

I have to found a new server if I want to upload complete discs I have now room for about 6 or 7 mp3's, which is enough for now, but I can't upload large files, so the mp3's I upload are never longer then 3 minutes. That's the way it is, till I get around finding something better.

Legs,

Free As A Boid is phenominal. Pegboy's (Vigotone's)choice cuts from the Dakota Demos. You know I can't find this compilation without that incessant buzzing on "Now And Then". Do you have that too?

You know, I don't have that YD double acetate release!

There's a lot of inexpensive server's out there these days with good bandwidth and great discspace. PM me if you want to compare notes!

Although, when you put up a few well chosen gems like that, people can really appreciate them.
