While surfing around, I learned that BBC did a show called "Battle Of The Brains". There were 7 people selected for intelligence tests. Some included things like........ How would you cope with glasses that turn everything upside down?....... Can you create a work of art in ten minutes? etc.
One of the tests was Can you think of 100 uses for a sock? and it made me curious. Can "you" think up 100 uses for a sock? Let's see how many we can come up with.

If the sock is clean/new, use it as a coffee filter. Put fresh ground coffee into sock then lower sock into boiled water.

If you read Edith's Diary by Patricia Hightower, Edith's no-account son Clifford finds a way to put a sock to use and NOT for its intended purpose!
