I'm sorry for being so ignorant, but does anyone know if there is a bootleg with all of the recordings from the LIB film? Nothing that wasn't in the movie. I suppose this would include the Get Back Rooftop Concert as well, but it isn't really as necessary. Does anyone know of something like this in existance. Thanks!

There are several bootlegs from the "Get Back" sessions which include the rooftop performance. Many members here have parts from these sessions, which became the album Let It Be.

I do believe that Jerry might have a complete copy. I'm not sure if any others do though.

You're looking for just a basic soundtrack to the movie right? There was an older LP bootleg called "The Last Blast" and that was just a straight copy of the movie. I have it, but I don't remember it ever seeing it on CD. The problem with the movie is that it's so edited and doesn't really contain many complete performances. There are tons and tons of bootlegs out there that would be much easier to listen to. But if you're looking for a complete rooftop show, that's another story, many of us here have it.

Well, really, what I wanted was every recording in the film in their full length. Thus, I don't need the entire Rooftop Concert, just the takes that shown in the movie. Sorry if that's still confusing..

Well that would probably take a lot of research. You'd have to sift through rolls and rolls of tape to figure out which ones are from which days and whatever. I think Lewisohn's "Recording Sessions" book gives some of this info.

But other than maybe a small edit on "Let It Be," I'm pretty sure that the last several songs from the movie are unedited, the ones from the rooftop and then the slower songs from the next day in the studio.

It seems strange that they would re-release everything, every old bootleg lp even the bad ones on cd but not the old Cinelogue lp, with the soundtrack of the Let It Be film, or the 80's version "In A Play Away", or whatever title it may be also know. But that has only the bits from the film.

Oh now I see what you mean. Yeah, that'd be kind tough actually. Well, maybe not too tough if you had a Sulpy book with the latest DDSI numbers and had the complete A and B rolls. The hardest part would probably be cutting the right tracks out of the Nagra rolls.
