Beatles obviously, but specifically bands as a topic, how many have pulled it off? Pink Floyd, The Who, ( Kiss bombed!), Stones had a couple, & now Iron Maiden & Metallica have done it. Bee Gees I suppose. Ramones had one good one. Zeppelin got an award for their 1 movie. Didn't see U2's
Beach Boys kinds missed the boat here.
The Beach Boys performed at the TAMI Show (1964) concert, but when the movie was released, their performance was cut out. The Beach Boys' TAMI Show performance did not see the light of day in-full until 1985, with the "American Band" video/documentary.
Mike Love made a cameo appearance in the movie "Deadman's Curve", the movie about Jan & Dean starring Richard Hatch.
