George, you gave voice to so many who needed it. You brought joy into the lives of many. You brought fun to countless people. My church, the Catholic church (and so many other parishes, no doubt) use your lyrics for our prayer meetings, Bible studies and discussion groups. You brought people closer to God and recognized God as your source of talent. For that I will always love you.

For your fans with autism, you provided a voice and rays of hope. That is something for which I will be enternally grateful. You encouraged us to think for ourselves and to stand by our convictions. You, George, who was surrounded by love from the very moment of your conception brought so much love into the world.

While I am at it, I would like to take this time to extend a heartfelt thank you to Louise French and Harold Sr. for providing you with the stable base and solid work ethic and values that stayed with you. Just as they were blessed to have you for their son, you were blessed to have them. I want to include your sister and brothers in this as well for loving you and for being an important influence on your life.

George, we joke a lot here at the Palace and I admit I like to have a little fun with Val and Cloud and those other racy chicks, but in all seriousness, you have really left indelible stamps on our lives. I admit I can do it all - joke with Val, et al. and also get very deep and serious. Right now this is serious.

When you were a boy, Louise is reported to have told Harold Sr. that the world has enough sheep and that it was best to let you think for yourself. Some 10 years later in 1965 you penned that song that struck deep chords into the hearts and minds of countless people. That is a message that can never be stated enough.

George, you were NEVER an econo-class Beatle. You were always FIRST class and you also helped give me a voice that I did not always have.

On behalf of your legion of fans and supporters, I just want to say, "thank you" and :birthday:

I hope your birthday is wonderful and I have no doubt that my uncle will certainly introduce you to other members of my family when they cross over. Knowing my favorite uncle (he was a gardener along with his day job), you and he would have a lot to talk about.

Thanks for the music, George. I believe the Lord has blessed you and I have no doubt that you are in His divine presence. I thank you, George for being part of my faith journey. I will always love you.

At my son's school, kids take it in turns to DJ at lunchtime whilst the rest of the kids are eating/playing ( one day each kid, they take their own CD's from home ) Coincidentally, today is his day and he's playing Brainwashed ( he had choosen the album long before he knew that he should play on the 25th February). I guess that it's a great tribute to make George's music available to young kids, some of whom were born after he died

BTW, Happy 1st Birdthay to my nephew Jordi too!!! ( Jordi is Catalan for George, another tribute!
