Been listening to some of this on my mp3 player today. (Gotta get ready for 'Let It Be--Naked")! I only have the first 10 volumes so far, but what I've heard can be alternately very interesting or very sad. I put some on the player somewhat randomly, so I ended up starting with Vols.4-6 or 7 (I think). They were running through All Things Must Pass, and man could J & P sing any more out of tune? George would be singing along and them WHAM, when everyone else joins in I started cringing. If I were George I would've walked out too!! I also heard way too many attempts at 'Don't Let Me Down' today. What Paul was trying to add to the song as a second vocal during the bridge (or chorus, not sure of the terms) was totally out of place for the song. The most interesting parts is when they are chit chatting amongst themselves. It's fly on the wall time. What I kept thinking more and more as I listened was :"Man, I wish they had filmed the White Album sessions!!" That's a Day By Day series that I'd love to hear.

I hope to get more of this 38 volume series.

Wow, that's quite an accomplishment to have downloaded the first 10 DbDs!

I've been listenting to this series from start to finish for like two months now I think. Right now I'm really sick of Let it Be and Long and Winding Road, yet I also have newfound appreciation for them. Like I can't imagine anyone, especially the Beatles, not knowing how these songs are supposed to go. Ha images/icons/smile.gif .

Yes, they were off tune quite a bit. But I think a Beatle version of ATMP might have worked if they had more time and energy.

I love listening to the chit chat too! God, to hear the entire White Albums sessions as we can LIB... graemlins/drool.gif

I converted several discs to mp3s so I can listen at work on my k@zaa. Man I wish I had an ipod!! I'm trying to trade for the rest, I really want to hear what they did at Apple. Should sound better there.
