A handwritten Beatles set list and Gandhi's signature are going under the hammer at a Derby auction house.

The set list written by John Lennon in 1964 for a World Tour concert is expected to fetch up to £10,000.

Gandhi gave his signature to a woman from Radcliffe-on-Trent when she was employed as his driver to take him to address MPs in the House of Commons.

Bidding is expected to reach £2,000 at auctioneers Bamfords, on Chequers Road later.

Sheila Anderson picked up Gandhi and assistant Madeleine Slade in 1931 and asked for his signature, which he gave her on House of Commons notepaper.

John Lennon's list includes the song titles - Saw Her Stand, Beethoven, All My Loving, She Loves You, From Me To You, Boys, This Boy, Money and Twist.

Ooo, I'd love to have Gandhi's signature! How cool!

Ok, having the set list wouldn't be bad, either! :laugh5:

Beatles concert list is auctioned in Derbyshire

A Beatles set list, handwritten by John Lennon, and Gandhi's signature have been auctioned in Derby.

The note of eight song titles from the 1964 World Tour concert fetched £4,200, which rises to more than £5,000 with commission, at Bamfords Auctioneers.

The list includes the songs Saw Her Stand, Beethoven, All My Loving, She Loves You and From Me To You.

The autograph, which was given to the driver who took Gandhi to address MPs in the House of Commons, made £1,350.

Sheila Anderson picked up Gandhi and assistant Madeleine Slade in 1931 and asked for his signature, which he gave her on House of Commons notepaper.

A spokesman for Bamfords said the track list was typical of the Beatles, who would often change the songs they played from venue to venue.
