From a Purple Chick insider:

"Hot on the heels of the "A" rolls tree, and having far too much free
time on their hands right now, Purple Chick has commenced editing
together of all the available Get Back tapes. This combining A rolls
and B rolls and assorted other sources (like "Journals") and presents
the sessions chronologically.

This will eventually become the ultimate Get Back document. No
duplication, properly indexed by DDSI number - although sometimes
it's hard to tell when one ends and one begins, witness 21.67-21.70.

Having considered editing in the studio mixes where appropriate, it
was decided to stick with Nagras whenever possible. Heck, Purple Chick might
even collapse the stereo recordings that have no Nagra counterparts
into mono, just for audio consistency (and to piss people off).

Anyway, Tuesday, 21st January, 1969 is done and ready to tree (it's a
cozy three discs) - the remainder of the Apple sessions are next."

I will probably have a copy of the set within a couple of months, as these things move quite slowly. Sort of exciting though, eh?
