We had this up a little while ago, and the discusion went wheter it really was the Beatles or not. I thought and still think it isn't really them. I have deleted the file, maybe I shouldn't have, what is on the site now is just a short sample.

There's no question it's them, just no question at all, you'll have to hear the full tape to see what I mean.

I had the full 12 minute tape as mp3, I just made the mistake of deleting it because I was so convinced it wasn't them. The whole baby part didn't sound like it was real, but now I am willing to believe I've made a mistake.

when news of this first broke, many people in the yahoo beatlegs group thought it was a fake too...you're not the only one, Legs images/icons/smile.gif i couldn't think of a reason for it not to be. i think it's a hilarious piece of beatle comedy.
i know people are trading this around, with artwork even, but i don't know which "label" has put it out. i'll let you know if i hear anything else.

Recently, the usual Xmas recordings have been re-released with "new" discoveries. Yellow Dog and Vigotone (2 CDs) both did this, and I'm sure there are others. But I just listened to another outtake that is definitely not on anything yet.
THIS SITE (http://www.beatlelinks.net/cgi-bin/links/jump.cgi?ID=2991) is selling the CD, and they were cool enough to send me one to review. It's a perfect quality recording about 12 minutes long of the guys attempting to record the 1965 message, and it's very sweet. They're completely fooling around, doing the usual voices and stories. At one point they actually talk about chopping up babies and other stuff, and this is before the butcher cover session. Interesting stuff. I'll broadcast it on the radio thing in a few weeks, but you can hear samples of it if you follow the link above.

Well, I've finally put this track up on the radio broadcast (http://www.beatlelinks.net/pages/revolutionradio.html), along with all of the usual stuff. The "lost" message outtake is track 10.

Yeah, that site was taken down a month or two ago. The track pretty much made the bootleg rounds, so selling it for $15 or $20 wasn't really gonna work. And I'm sure they had the usual legal problems too.
