Spreading the Beatlegs around: Take 1, Leave 1

This is a great way to spread the rare recordings about, while building up your own collection quickly. I stole it from a fella named Postal69 at www.backstreets.com (http://www.backstreets.com) (for any Bruce Springsteen fans out there, check it out!)

It works out quite well as long as everyone lives up to their obligation.

Simple to do:

You just choose the boot that you want(take one) from the posters list and list what you have to offer(leave one).

So everyone gets a boot and gives a boot, except the original poster(ME), who only gives one. So you are taking from the post that you replied to, and giving to the first person that replies to your post. It doesn't matter how many you leave, you just have to leave something for someone else to take.

Apologies to the bootless/burnerless this only works if you have boots to offer and burn.

i quadrupled my bootleg collection in under 2 months, and made tons of great trading partners. however, the beatlegsweed group has strict rules about weeding (see the FAQ). it's fun for a while and 99% of the people are super nice to newbies.

i overdid it and i'm kinda bailing out slowly. it becomes a lot of time-consuming work. and trading itself, though it all evens out, becomes very expensive. i've gotten myself into a bit of financial trouble overdoing trades. oh well, i'm over it now images/icons/smile.gif
