Hey, all!

I received an iPod Touch for :xmastree:, and was wondering if anybody out there has one and uses its wi-fi connectivity to connect to the internet, etc.

How do I determine the password to join any given wi-fi network? I've read some posts on some really tech-geek web sites, but it's all foreign to me... the terminology they use.

Could anyone help me out? Thanks!!!! :thumbu2:

You go to "settings" and then wifi connection and see if there are any connections available. Some may be locked, and need a password, obviously. The only way you can acquire those is if someone has the password handy.

Yeah, that seems to be the roadblock I run into - knowing the darn password!

Figured it out.... it's the "wireless network key" printed on the sticker of my modem. :teeth1:

There's also a cool app you can download, Free Wi-Fi, that tells you all the free wi-fi locations around you... for when you take it out of the house. (In the house, it's hooked up with my wireless router.)

Anyway... enjoy the iPod Touch! I looooooooove mine and use it for so many things!

Did you find it? It's in the iTunes store and it's actually called "Free Wi-Fi."
