Anyone else heard of this new boot? Supposed to have a 'remix' of "All Those Years Ago" which brings Pauls voice more out front, as well as other mixes of Free as a Bird and Real Love. Also the reunion 'jam' from DVD disc 5. If any ones gotten hold of this, PLEASE let me know, its one I'd LOVE to get!! { and no, cant find it on WinMX). :<|>

Nope haven't heard of the bootleg, but be carefull there are fake remixes of "Real Love"and "Free As A Bird" where the bootlegers just takes an Lennon demo and adds the voices of Paul and George into the mix.
Not sure about "All Those Years Ago", sounds like something that the bootlegger could have made also. The complete reunion jam is nice to have on boot tho, so far all I have is the "Blue Moon of Kentucky" bit.

One more thing do you know which label the boot is on. In general:

Yellow Dog is good
Walrus: Not so good.

I think thats exactly what these are, just fan made 'outfakes' butI really enjoy that kind of stuff. That version you mention of "FAAB" is just gorgeous.
I'd never heard of this label before, its 'Purple Chick". What it is, I found the covers fan made on the net, and the basic announcement of trades within this group, which I'm not in. I can tell you the "FAAB" and "Love" tracks are:
Johns demo for each
an acoustic mix for each
the 5.1 channels
whats called an 'enhanced mix'
the video and single mixes
and in Real Oves case, the single at original speed )of Johns demo im assuming), and Kevin Godleys dubbed mix.
I personally love this sort of thing, tho its for hard cores only I suppose. Basically to anylize how the Fabs recorded this stuff, close as possible to master tapes kind of thing.

yeah, i'm on the tree for this boot. i can vouch for the authenticity and professionalism of it--the source is trustworthy and has done other boots in the past. it's more than just fan outfakes. and the artwork is amazing!

it does have a few fan remixes, but it mostly is 5.1 seperations, as well as a trip through the making of "FAAB" and "real love." i think the track listing is on bootlegzone.com. i think it also includes all the jam songs from the reunion sessions.

the 5.1 seperations are apparently the new big thing in boots since we're kinda outta orginal beatle outtakes, etc. i think they're very enlightening, so i agree with joelcrowservo.

i'd be willing to set up trades with any of my fellow beatlelinks fans, just let me know!

Count me out on this one. Ever since the Lost Lennon radio shows, the bootleg market have been swamped with bootlegs of the Lennon demo's for "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love". I have them on a boot called "Come Together Beatles in the 90's.And I'm still not so sure about the Threetles outtakes of "FAAB" and "Real Love" if they are for real, sure I want it, if created by fans or the bootlegers, I pass If I want I can create them myself.

As for the 5.1 seperations, sounds intersting, but like the sessions cd-s, you get many different mixes of basicly the same takes.

Great googlymoogly, YES, I'm interested! Like I said, ever since I heard the 'unplugged' Beatles version of FAAB, I've been very intrigued by this sort of 'remix'. Let me know via email what you need, and I'll get on it. I really want this one! And remember folks, I asked first, so first dibs!! graemlins/teeth1.gif
