I was just wondering if anyone can tell me if George did recordings from the time he was in India in 1966, when he learned play the sitar with Ravi Shankar.

That would be really fun to hear!!

i've never heard of any that are actually from India. i really doubt he did just because he says they were on a boat, and i doubt that kind of equipment was available.

From a bit later 1968, there's Raga, where you can hear Ravi and George play sitar, it's on the bootleg "East and West, Yin and Yang".
