This summer, after six years, my husband and I got married! One of the things that linked us together from the beginning was our shared love of The Beatles, and this theme carried over to our wedding in a big way -- we had "All You Need Is Love" written on our invitations, we did our wedding party dance to "With A Little Help From My Friends", etc. etc...

The biggest surprise, however, came today when we got our wedding photos back. At some point during the "bride getting ready" portion of the photo shoot, my Dad brought up his Beatles albums and he and the photographers planned something out that I didn't know about. These were the results! :)

Aww, that was SO sweet of your dad to do that!! I would LOVE a Beatles-themed wedding...

It was a beautiful day -- TOTALLY stress free and just wonderful, all around. And now I have a wonderful husband with whom I can spend the rest of my (Beatle-y) life!!! Couldn't be happier! :scream7:

Thanks everyone! The final chapter to our Beatles wedding is still coming -- we were given a trip to Vegas to see "Love" in December as a wedding present from my brother-in-law and his wife, and we just finalized everything today. Super stoked!!!

I absolutely LOVE how you were able to incorporate a Beatle theme into your wedding day! Your invitations are gorgeous. Somehow that just adds something so special to your day, and to the memories of it.

And, if you couldn't tell, I'm verrrry envious of your Vegas trip! Better lock your suitcases up or I might try to sneak a ride down. :devious:
