My favourite mp3, from the ones that I have, is one from what, I suppose, was a radio show.

The presenter (Steve Race?) describes, in a very nice (understandable, that is) way the whole process of recording All You Need Is Love.

At a certain point, the presenter predicts that this will be an almost certain hit record (smart, this Steve guy...)

We can also hear George Martin interrupting Johnīs singing, saying that the backing vocals are OK.

Finally, we hear the whole song as we know it.

Another mp3 that i think is very interesting is a version of Somethig (badly) sunged by John Lennon. Iīm not sure when it was recorded, but I think it was still in the Beatles time, because of the drumming, thatīs seems very much Ringoīs style.

Now, which are your favourite mp3īs?

Not necessarily my favorite, but my most current is the 8 minute version of Dig It from the Get Back sessions.

Lately I've found a few outtakes from John's Double Fantasy/Milk and Honey sessions. They contain not only music but a lot of chit chat between John and the band. Not only are they humorous, but compared to all the other outtakes through the years (and I have a LOT), in these John is have FUN...he's absolutely giddy sometimes. There is one where they are rehearsing and John say "the bass player disappeared! Where'd he go?" It quite amusing. While these albums may not be my favoite period for John's music, these outtakes are a bittersweet pleasure to listen too.

So far I've found outtakes for "Cleanup Time", "Borrowed Time", "Watching the Wheels" and "Starting Over"...I'm sure there must be more.

i would say my 22 min copy of 'revolution'. it's a monitor mix, with yoko reciting poetry and saying silly stuff about john, with the band pumping thru take 18 of the song! i really wish it was just the take w/out yoko, but it is all i can find that's even close!
also i think the ultra rare trax set, (all 8!), i got from winmx!
oh yeah. . . and my complete x-minus one radio shows. . . very cool.
