Come Together Video?

I know of the existance of a "Beatles One" VCD. What I'm wondering is, theres a Come Together vodeo listed, but what is it? I wasnt aware of anything but the live clip of John at the One to One show. By that notion, I also wasnt aware of an 8 Days A Week clip.

I downloaded the video from WinMX. It has Come Together piped over what looks like a silent film made by a fan. it shows fans waiting outside Abbey Road Studios as each of the Beatles arrive and then run through the fan-gauntlet to get inside. that sounds boring and uninteresting but IMO its a great little video, actually i wanted to see a bit more of the video but when the song is over- the video is over. graemlins/angry9.gif
Its kind of like the "A day in the life" video if you've seen that.
Maybe someone on Beatlelinks knows more about the background of the video graemlins/images/icons/confused.gif

I'd like to know more about the VCD. What kind of videos does it include? Like the post-1965 videos for Sullivan, etc? The entire "something" video? the entire "strawberry fields.."?

Apparently it is, in some way, originally an Apple thing, cause I read the soundtracks are remixed. Its the whole clips ("Help" dartless promo, etc.) not like in Anthology where they were 'joined in progress'. I'd hoped there would be something on the new DVDs where you could watch the uncluttered clips, but sadly no. I wonder if this VCD doesnt have something to do with the fact that a video was supposed to have been released along with "One",but was shelved.

the 'beatles one' dvd is supposed to be a video version of the cd, using all the viddys to make it up.
i found a copy on ebay. it says it is a japanese apple release, but it is more of a boot of all the viddys,(my copy seems to be burned from a vhs copy, i.e., it looks like video!)
some of the clips are hard to find, like, there is a good ver of 'help!', (it is the complete shot of the boys playing the song shown at the beginning of the movie). . . it also has some stuff that is shown on the anthology, uncut, but overall the quality is rather poor, (s.f.f. is still in sad shape! i had to edit a copy in sonic foundry and spent several hours 'decent' version, it ain't half bad!)
i find that the anthology dvd has extended, or just cut some dialogue, to make the viddys more full in some cases, like 'a day in the life', but the editors said that they purposely changed some of the viddys to include diff takes and stuff to make it more interesting, as people would not want all the real stuff. . . i disagree. . . we need to have all this out!
while they sit on their hands, they are losing megabucks!
sooner or later i guess they will let them out, i hope it is before i am too old to enjoy!
