I read a blurb today that reported that Charlie Watts may have left the Stones. Has anyone else heard about this horrifying and unsettling story?

I heard on the radio before that the band have released a statement to say that it is rubbish and no he hasn't gone anywhere.

Mind you, Oasis said the other day that they weren't splitting....

Not exactly. Noel left the band, the other 3 remain.

But I guess it's just a question of time until they split up officially.

I have seen various websites who say Charlie Watts has not left the band.

A spokesman for the group rubbished the claim, calling it "a load of hogwash".

The band released a statement which read: "Contrary to a fabricated story that ran this morning on a small music web site in Australia, drummer Charlie Watts has not left the Rolling Stones."
