I noticed the Anthology (I watched the first part, and forgotten how edited the TV version is. I'm so used to the DVDs) OMG...Help! on tv? awesome. I'll have to remember that :smile1:

Yes. It was very edited down. No mention of Stuart's passing... No funny story about the condom on the wall in Hamburg ......
Plus, they did the intro for Free As A Bird, and then didn't play the video.

This seems even better then the BBC programing, except for the new documentary "The Beatles on record".
Unfortunately tho I don't have VH1.

last night at 2:30 AM there was a show on BBC America called "The Beatles Biggest Secrets."
Let me tell ya, this show was nothing but a bunch of glory seeking folks who knew the Beatles in Liverpool and Hamburg telling about the Beatles drug habits and sexual escapades. Allan Williams talking about how Paul still owes him money and doesn't know how Paul can live w/ himself over it; Alistair Taylor telling of paying off various women to keep quiet regarding sexual encounters w/ various Beatles; May Pang telling of the lost weekend, etc. They did have Klaus Voorman on there, who was very respectful of his friends, but the other folks on there should be ashamed to tell such private things, true or untrue.

Alistair Taylor has been dead since 2004.
I met him once, he was a gentleman. I am sure this had something to do with some nasty editing that put all in a bad light.

Convalescing to the Beatles is a sure Rx to quicker recovery!

Paul, Ringo and Yoko were just on Entertainment Tonight. It was another exploitative interview with Mary Hart asking about the murder of John Lennon, while showing clips from Help and Get Back footage. They'll be a part II tomorrow on why the Beatles never reunited...
