I'd spend a lot more time trying to find useful information and a lot less time finding useLESS information!

Sadly, there'd be no Beatle Links or other good sites or ways you could hook up with people immediately.

Without the Internet, we'd still be living in the Neolithic Era (New Stone Age).

Yeah, I don't know what I would do without this place, I would have no one to share my Beatle obsession with... what a sad world it would be.

That's very true, Relle. I also do a lot of research online. Not that one can use the information on web pages straigth off as facts but for finding the sources, and particularly obscure ones, it's unbeatable! Also I just love being able to read old manuscripts and out of print books too rare or found in collections too far away to be accessible in person. :smile2:

Still, the Net's a nice place to goof off too and be social for a change, which is what I do when going to Links. :devious:

I just hope that in this hypothetical internet-less universe we never actually knew we had the internet previously. We'd all know what we were missing.

I would probably be reading a book or watching something on TV. The funny thing is the internet was beginning to be developed at the UCLA around 1969. The idea was to get a computer there to communicate with a computer at Stanford Research Institute in Menlo Park, California. So the concept of the internet is 40 years old.

We wouldn't be having this chat. We'd be like our caveman forebears, hitting two rocks together or for mass communication, shouting out a window or doing that thing with string and 2 tin cans!

Worst of all, we as fans would not know each other and we would not have these wonderful chances to watch Beatle footage (on our computers) whenever we want or be able to enjoy George gifs!
