I'm new to this whole bootleg business...but I'm having fun with it so far. I've actually found alot of bootlegs off Kazaa.

Anyways, I was wondering if any of you had listened to the old Beatles Fan Club bootlegs from the Christmas records? They're quite funny, I downloaded them off of this website: http://www.scifihifi.com/beatles/

And I managed to find the other 1968 and 1969 off Kazaa.

And, recently I just found out that my Aunt actually owns a few of these fan club records, and she is giving them to me! Yay! I can't imagine what they are worth, but I do hope they are in good shape!

Just wanted to share that with you, since Christmas is coming up...http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

I have a bootleg CD of all the Xmas albums, plus a few outtakes, plus the lads' solo Xmas songs. VERY good listening indeed for this time of year. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

I probably have the same one,it's very complete with almost every Beatles and solo Xmas outting.

Thanks PauLuver69 for posting the link, you'll probably make a lot of people happy who haven't heard the Christmas records yet.And congrats with the original Xmas records!

I was lucky enough to get a tape of the CD with all the christmas fan club recordings. I got it in May of one year and listened to it for weeks! It's SO enjoyable and so funny! If anyone would like a tape, email me. I even had this on my answering machine for awhile: "Hello, this is John speaking with his voice..." right off the 1964 recording. Great stuff.

A few years ago, a friend from England made me a tape. Included on it were some of the early Christmas recordings. I'd love to get a real copy, though. Thanks for the link for the downloads!

Oh that is the funniest! I love it in the 1964 one where Paul says, "Hello everybody, this is Paul, and I'd just like to thank you for buying our records this past year, we know you've been buyin them, cos the sales are very good you see. Don't know where we'd be without you-"

"In the Army, perhaps." John butts in.

"Well, we hope you've enjoyed listening to the records just as much as we have enjoyed melting them-"

*laughter from the Beatles*

"No, NO! Thats WRONG!"

LOL...so funny....Also in the 1965 one where they are making fun of Yesterday through out the entire thing, hehehe.

Alright, I'll stop spoiling it!

Even in bad shape, they're worth a ton. And if you have the original mailers or flyers, tack on a bunch more. Check out eBay and search for "beatles christmas" and you'll see what I mean. But don't tell your aunt.http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/wink2.gif

Those are so funny! I also love how just listening to those records in chronological order, you can see how *weird* they got in such a short time.
