I am looking for demos of this song.

I know the original final album recording lasted longer than what came on the album (Alan Parsons said that they were listening to the tape for side one and John just said "Cut It Here").

This song I love so much, it has this blues sound with John doing the melody line on his Casino guitar, like Clapton and Jimmy Page do/did). And the heavy Harri Moog sound was at that time so 'new'.

Also the up-tempo jazz part which starts at 3.45 is great.

That's why I want more of the recordings.

Anyone can assist me here please.

The only version I have on bootleg is one with Paul doing the vocals (Sounds like Paul to me but it's still not clear wheter it's an real take or not). It ends in an normal way at 4:32.
Not much info on other takes, or if the complete version is on bootleg, I'm almost sure that the Paul version is the only outtake released.
If anyone knows for sure that there's more on bootleg, please let us know.

I thought I found one registered as Beatles Thirty Days, it is also round 4.38.

Starts with jamming guitars, a guitar which does sound like the one George used for Abbey Road, playing a constant same riff, and another guitar playing what sounds like the I Want You riff.

But then the singing comes and someone who sounds like Jimi Hendrix doing some vocal.

Probably something else.

According to a book I have, they did briefly attempt this song on January 28, 1969. I have the Yellow Dog series of the 'Get Back' sessions, but it's not up to this day yet.

IN the last years have surfaced many outtakes of this song that were recorded during the Get Back sessions. For many years the only avalaible version was a very poor sounding version that was supposed to have Paul singing instead of John but it's a fake.My favourite is the funky one with John and Billy sharing vocals. There is a REAL outtake in which Paul sings lead and is pretty amazing too.You can find yet another (mainly instrumental)version with Billy singing a few ad libbed lines around "I had a dream ".He is the guy that "sounds like Jimi Hendrix". At that stage the "she's so heavy" bit had not been added yet.According to a book about those sessions written by Doug Sulpy ,The Beatles did the song on January 28 and 29, on 30 (rooftop concert) and 31(Apple studio perfomance).P.S.Please, forgive me for my poor English.

Hi Sir Frank, haven't we met before?

I know about that fake one you describe, I wrote about it above your post.

I will keep looking.
