Anyone know a place online or otherwise that i could order the Shea Stadium concert? A friend of mine had a copy recorded off of the mixboard. But I've lost contact with her and cant get a copy. lol. It was the full concert filmed from several angles. And as I said. Recorded from the mixing board.
Thanks guys,
Botbv.

I have the video and CD, but I think EBay is your best bet for stuff like this.

The video pops up on WinMX,etc.
However;
1.It is of poor quality in that it breaks up in a few places (picture roll,like off a TV broadcast).
2. You need to do multiple sessions or be on-line for a LONG time,as it is 485 MB!!!

i just read beatles gear and id just like to point out an interesting fact.in the book it says the producers of the film asked the beatles to come back to a studio to record as if they were live for a few songs cuz the sndtrk for the fillm was such poor quality.just thought thaty was interesting.

Act Naturally is actually the album version. At one point you can hear Ringo singing, while he's not moving his lips.

That's pretty clever huh...I wish some more people would consider that...

A short clip of Ringo's true performance of "Act Naturally" aired during his appearance on the US talk show The View back in 1998. The audio short clip emerged on a bootleg entitled Live: Make As Much Noise As You Like!
The Beatles did "sweeten" the film a little bit by overdubbing some of their performances in the studio, except the live version of "Twist and Shout" from the '64 Hollywood Bowl concert was used, and as was mentioned, the commerical version of "Act Naturally" was used.
The Beatles At Shea Stadium should receive the deluxe DVD treatment by Apple, with extra footage, press conferences, etc. Those pristine restored clips used in the Anthology are so tantalizing! Imagine having an official release of that quality!
