Two concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, the ones from August 23th 1964 and August 30th 1965 were for a time the only Hollywood Bowl concerts released on bootleg, by the Yellow Dog label "Hollywood Bowl Complete" YD034. The most complete Hollywood Bowl bootleg is however The complete Hollywood Bowl concerts released by Midnight Beat MB CD 108/109. A boxset with two cd's and a booklet. It includes for the first time the concert from August the 29th 1965. Paul's microphone didn't work on the first four songs, you only hear the other Beatles providing the backing vocals on Paul's songs.
A great set with best sound quality as posible.

The first disc with the concerts from August 23th 1964 and August 30th 1965 are now available for download at http://www.beatlegs.org/main.htm
The second and most unique disc will most likely follow next month.

But even if the microphone had worked, were you able to hear anything?

Ofcourse if you can find it, buy it.It's a good bootleg and the boxset includes an book with info on the concerts and photo's. But you can always download the songs, in case you can't find the bootleg.

Sorry for editting your post Bearkat, I hit the wrong button. I was just suppose to quote you.

There wasn't much to hear since so many girls were screaming at the top of their lungs. I did manage to hear bits and pieces of some of their songs though.

I received word in my mail today about the RIAA, in association with some ISPs, that the site Listen4free.com is being sued now. Looks like they're going to go after all of the donwnload sites one by one.
