Are Cinema Tickets To High?

Why are Cinema ticket prices going up over the years? Big blockbuster Films reap big returns and even in this credit crunch; prices have not gone down but up.

Do you think they should low the cost? If they wanted to have more people watching there films; they would not price them so high.

It depends - tickets for the West End theatres are very pricey but then again i am a member at the Prince Charles Cinema and the tickets there are very cheap.

The nearest theater over here charges $11.50, but that's because it's new. Others charge anywhere from $6-10... although I've been to some out of state that charge $13. It's too high, but of course it depends on where you go.

We drop around $23.00 for a pair of tickets these days.... crazy! God forbid I buy them online. Then, I'd be paying even more per ticket!
