Did anyone else get a chance to hear the new Yellow Cat cd's of George they have recently released? One is called Musical Dialouge 74 / 99 and the other is Ying & Yang / Easy meets West. They're pretty good, sounds like some better sound on some stuff, some repeats on the ying and yang disc. The 74 radio show is really nice, great to have the entire freeman tape and not just snippets,

thanks
paul

Here's some more info for everyone,

George Harrison
Let It Rock Around The World
Yellow Cat YC 072/073 75:11 / 37:44
Disc 1
George Harrison & Alan Freeman
October 18th, 1974
This first disc has been excerpted before on A True Legend but this is the full source tape and sounds a bit better as well. The interview segments are nice, but this source is actually a rerun from 75 of the 74 show so at times the edits get a bit annoying, also quite a few various commercial songs mixed in between.

Disc 2
George Harrison & Joe Brown
Let It Rock July 1st, 1999
The second disc is pretty short but it is actually quite a good listen in my opinion, it's basicly george and joe talking about all the old rock records as they pick ones to play, even pulling out the original Lonesome Tear In My Eyes, also Some Other Guy, nice interview with George in great spirits. Also features the premier radio play of Macca's I Got Stung, no new music from George though on here.

George Harrison & Ravi Shankar
Ying & Yang / East & West
Yellow Cat YC-074 73:43

1- Raga Private Instruction - 1:40
2- David Frost Show (w/ George & Ravi)- 2:50

9- Prabhujee (w/ Ravi) 8:05
10- Anoushka (EPK w/ Ravi) 3:14
11- "40 Years" (All Things EPK 2001 - :49
12- Here Comes The Sun - SNL 76 - 3:46
13- Homeward Bound - SNL 76 - 2:52
14- Mo - 4:54
15- Abandoned Love - 4:11
16- Rockline Radio Medley 9:04
17- Between the Devil n The Deep Blue Sea - 2:37
18- Don't Try To Own Me - vocal w/ Gary Wright - 1:14
19- Here Comes Emerson - 1:45
20- Your True Love - 2:17 - Carl Perkins Memeorial
21- All Things Must Pass - EPK 2001 - :17

It's a pretty nice disc although there are a few things that have been seen quite a bit before, but quality may be a bit better, not sure as i didn't a/b it with 12 arnold grove, includes a 6 page booklet,

Both are really nice discs but I honestly wouldn't fight very hard or pay very much for an original copy as there is little new music, but very enjoyable if you can get them cheap or burnt off a friend

Thanks
Paul
