So I've started this little project doing the A Hard Day's Night Album.
I found a couple of local guys on Craigslist do do the Paul and George parts.
So far we've had three rehearsals with the George guy and myself, one rehearsal with th Paul guy and myself and two rehearsals with all three of us. (My brother is the drummer and he knows all the material cold. He'll probably sit in with us once or twice before we play out.)
Anyroad, last Tuesday night, just before the last song of our second full rehearsal the bass player pulls out this dinky little pocket digital recorder and says he wants to record it to see how we sound. Unfortunately he forgot to change the quality setting and it was on 3 hours as opposed to 45 minutes so the quality of this recording is pretty bad. I think that we sound pretty decent though.
