Ah, sorry didn't read properly.

I have not seen any bootleg videos of it.

She's that kind of lady,
That you meet in a dream of dreams,
She's always in the shadow,
but you know this woman's real
And I like her like that
'cause she's kind of crazy
I think I know what I'm looking for,
That kind of woman

i happen to have 2 hours of LIB bootleg footage. i got it about a year ago when i was buying a copy of LIB off ebay and this totally random guy emailed me asking if i wanted bootlegs too. we struck a deal (an unbelievable $25 for both, tho no orginal packaging).

the bootleg video is pretty boring. it is very common for the video to not be in sync with the audio. quality is poor for the most part. however, it's still one of those things every serious collector needs to just have.

that ebay person someone just put a link up for says something about peter sellers. mine seems to be comperable to those tapes so if you have the money, i'd suggest getting a copy. you get to hear paul butcher "all things must pass," a totally awesome experimental entire band jam with yoko, and john struggle through the great "get back" solo.

i'd be willing to make copies myself, but i don't have two vcrs.

I have this video. It stinks in my opinion. It's black and white from what I remember, the sound is off from the video, it's all spliced up and jumps around, and they're really not doing anything good anyway.

I do have a few other things, like alternate video shots of some of the rooftop songs and a few of the slower songs near the end of the movie. They look like they were prepared as promotional films or something.

From the Day By Day series of bootleg CDs, it's obvious that all of these original movie reels are out there somewhere, in nice little 15 minutes segments, and in perfect condition. Where, nobody knows. But I wouldn't be surprised if they started coming out on bootleg DVD very soon, which is the newest thing at the swap meet near my house. I saw a few last time, one of the actual Let It Be movie, and another of the Ed Sullivan shows. Nice, but at $80 a pop, they stayed right where they were.

yeah, my bootleg stinks too but it's not all black and white. i'd say that if you could splice it into about 15 minutes, it'd be a really awesome piece.

bootleg dvds...hmmm...it is a mystery as to where this stuff actually comes from. i mean, who owns/has access to those old reels of film? i suppose they're spread out everywhere. but yeah, the film must exist cuz the sound does. or then again, they could be totally seperate.

Well, there are true studio reel-to-reel tapes from the Apple half of the Get Back sessions. But the entire process was recorded on the film reels from several cameras, and the Day By Day CDs are in this format. I'm pretty sure they're coming directly from those tapes.

Hi all, I have a 2 hour video and it's actually quite good in my opinion, it has some footage of george doing all things must pass, also strange footage from apple of John messing with feedback as Yoko wails, lots of makin of the tune let it be, most of the stuff is pretty well matched to the audio, if only apple would get the guts to go through, remaster and edit all the footage for a stunning dvd.

The Day by day's come from nagra tape recorders which are manually synched to the film reels, which would be silent, hence all the annoying beeps.

Thanks
Paul
