Do the constanting ringing of the bells in the plane have a purpose? why do they ding dong all the time?
Not easy to sleep with them ringing so much; do you mind hearing them?

Are you referring to the bells that sound when the fasten seat belt light turns on and off?

Does anyone else know what they are?
They seem to go on every 5 mins. Just imagine how annoying it must be to work on a plane everyday with the bells ding dong all the time.
Does that sound like a good working environment?

"cabin crew, prepare for landing"
never understood that line from the captain..who is doing the landing...and should be preparing..

What I don't get about flying is this, why does the flight attendant welcome the passengers to the city their landing at? The plane hasn't landed yet and nobody including the attendant is at the airport, so why welcome passengers to place their not at?

That's easy. It's a polite way of telling the crew to "Sit down and buckle up, stupid! I'm landing here!" :devious:
