At my local Bootleg shop they have a copy of the Beatles complete BBC sessions on CD for $200. Is it worth it?

It's worth it, BigLou...but if you can trade for it with someone else it might be worth it even more...

I have it, and I can burn copies for a trade...it's 10 CDs plus a CD of artwork. Let me know...

Well -- I'll send you an off-list note about this, but I think the cost of the CDs and postage should about cover it...and that's a HECK of a lot less than $200!!!

I thought that NEARLY everything went on the official 1994 cds. What extras are there on the bootleg ones??

(p.s. Theres the Baby Its You single at my local cd fair for £4 ($7). Is it worth picking up?)

The official CD had 60 odd tracks. The 9-CD set (of which i hope to assemble myself -I have Dics 1),has a good 250+ performances from about 40 broadcasts, and was all that was known to exist then.
The £4 seems fair for Baby Its You.

Then of course there's the 10th CD (material from 'Here We Go' recorded at the Playhouse Theatre on March 6th, 1963) which was discovered shortly after the release of Great Dane's 9CD box set, in the Spring of 1994, and given to Great Dane in order to complete the saga of the Beatles at the BBC.
