I have the John Lennon version, which I know it's true... but now I just found one by George Harrison, which I think it's a fake... does anyone of you knows something about it?

I just seen the file name, it says it's George Harrison and Bob Dylan... I don't really know what to think, but this info may be helpful to you

George has done a long session with Dylan, early 70's, where they also did this one. I have it.
George also did a short version with Paul Simon live.

During a jam session George had with Bob Dylan in 1970 (prior to their first released collaboration for George's All Things Must Pass album), they played and recorded versions of "Gates Of Eden", "Song To Woody", by Bob Dylan; "Da Doo Ron Ron" by The Ronettes and a short "Yesterday" parody. The session is basically a jam, but it has an unquestionable historical importance that cannot be denied. That very same night the pair returned to the studio and recorded four Dylan songs from his New Morning album: "Time Passes Slowly", "Sign On The Window", "Went To See The Gypsy" and "Working On A Guru". He re-worked on this tracks later.
I believe the first session appears on one of the "Completed Rarities" bootleg.

To continue about what Darkhorse referred to, the Dylan session, , it was May 1, 1970.
George joined Bob in the Columbia Recording Studio NYC and jammed with Bob, Charlie Daniels (bass), Russ Kunkel (drums), Bob Johnston (piano) on the following tracks. Various of these can be found on sites like WinMG, Audiogalaxy.

I'll look for them! Thanks for the tips...
I just wanted to ask something else, since it came to me in mind... isn't it that also Richie has done a cover of Yesterday? That would complete the set http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

I also can confirm that this session is not bootlegged in any Harrison CD, but it's instead released through Dylan bootlegs... that makes them collection pieces for us Beatles + Hari fans.
And Carola... I don't know if Ritchie ever sang "Yesterday", but it could be. You never know what he's up to. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

I'll ask ABCKO, he knows a lot about Richie's unreleased material

Ahem...well..., I would not say a lot but...
http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/blush2.gif
To my knowledge, Ringo has never recorded a version of "Yesterday" (live or studio).
I have lokked up quite a few Ringo bootlegs & B-sides over the years but "Yesterday" has never come up on any research I have ever done and I think I would have noticed that one...

Still, I'll have a look in a pretty good reference book I have, will let you know if I find anything...but I doubt it...
