Sounds like the live Lennon medley. As done by Paul alone, no George and Ringo, in liverpool 28-06-1990.
This was released on the All My Trials cd-single in the U.K.
Three songs were played.
Strawbery Fields (Forever)
Help! and
Give Peace A Change.
At the begining you'll hear Paul say
"Ah thank you, thanks alot. Still enjoying yourself? O.k tell you what, we learned up a special thing, especially for Liverpool here.
And maybe you gonna help us out and sing a long with it, if you know the words. This is just a little tribute to someone we loved dearly."
Does the version you have has the same introduction, Lou?

I saw Paul do this medley live in Berkely in 1990. I thought Love Me Do was one of the songs, but I guess I'm wrong. One thing I'm sure of...Ringo & George were "not in the building."

I don't know how many times Paul played the Lennon medley. I have the Liverpool one, and thought he had played it somewhere else to, but I don't think he had played it many times. Mine's without "Love me Do" only Lennon songs.

In the concerts and on an offical issue the Love Me Do medley was "P.S. Love Me Do"

Yes alright, but the Lennon medley is something different as the "Love me do" P.s. I Love you medley.

Alright, you have downloaded the "Lennon medley". It's strange that your version doesn't have "Give peace a chance". Try searching other download sites, cause it's realy nice to hear that. After Paul stops playing "Peace". The crowd just goes on chanting "All we are saying, is give peace a chance" on and on, finally Paul kicks back in and joins the public by starting to play the song again. Great!
And yes I agree, John always wanted to do "Help!" as an ballad, I think he wouldn't have minded Paul's version.
