I picked up this 4 CD set the other day...
http://www.bootlegzone.com/beatleg/discs/cd490351.htm http://www.bootlegzone.com/beatleg/discs/cd490352.htm http://www.bootlegzone.com/beatleg/discs/cd490353.htm http://www.bootlegzone.com/beatleg/discs/cd490354.htm
It's really nice to finally have all of these tracks in once place, and it's amazing how good some of these songs were. I wouldn't have given them away, that's for sure.

You know... I "burnt" my own "Given Away" CD and it looks suspisciously just like CD1... Indeed some of those songs are very interesting. Of course the one I like most is "Badge", but also some like "Sour Milk Sea", "Step Inside Love" and "Goodbye" are golden treasures. As for the other discs, "Veronica" is a highlight, and one of my all time favorites. Ronnie Spector's version of "Try Some Buy Some" is not as good as George's but still worth listening... And I don't think including tracks from Ringo, Goodnight Vienna, Ringo's Rotogravure or Stop And Smell The Roses was such a good idea, but you have to fill the four CDs with something don't you. I'll be looking forward to hear some of those songs, thanks for the link male webmaster.

Should read before I post I guess.

Q: In the Anthology book, you talk about the unwound G string. What is that? I play guitar and I'm not sure what you're talking about.
George: It's one of those little things that goes up your butt so that people can't see your pantylines.

I have been looking for a CD like that cause I really don't have the money to buy each and every artists album containing the songs mentioned above. But I'd love to own a great deal of them.

If I was to include the whole thing, I would have to include "On The Wings Of A Nightingale" by The Everlys, "God Save Oz", by The Elastic Oz Band, "Try Some Buy Some" by Ronnie Spector and soooooo many others... Maybe I will do it later. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif

Is the song "No matter what" a Beatles original as well. Badfinger does it, but it sounds like McCartney wrote it. Interesting they chose not to do that song since I consider it quite a good song that the beatles could have made a hit version out of. Same goes for "come and get it".

No Matter What is a Pete Ham composition.
Pete Ham is the one who did most of the songwriting for the band. He did the accoustic Here Comes The Suns set with George on the Bangla Desh concert.
This song was the follow-up of Come and Get It as hit-single and is from their No Dice album which also has the well known song Without You, which was a Harry Nilsson hit and another one Mariah Carey shouted a mess of.
The song is produced by ......Mal Evans.
