I've never bought boots online, but I have found them in used CD stores. Sometimes they'll be in an "Imports" section; other times they'll be mixed in with the regular CDs. I also trade copies of boots with some of my friends....but I can say no more. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/wink1.gif

I am happy to have a great Bootleg store in the lovely town of Delft which is close to my home.
Other than that, I buy from e-bay auctions and that has never caused problems for me in respect of non-delivery or something like that. More even, it got me in contact with sellers and via that route I was even able to buy direct from them.
But, most of my bootleg material I got from downloading via sites like Napster, Audiogalaxy, WinMX, KaZaa which still have huge collections.

Exactly how and where I've got mine from. It's the same for me here where I live, onosideboards - you simply can't find anything in stores, or anywhere for that matter. So I've had to rely heavily on picking things up from online auctions and the contacts I've made through various sellers.

For me, it's E-Bay all the way.
I used to get them from a website called "Kiss The Stone", but that site's been taken down years ago.
Other than that, there used to be a cool store in NYC called Revolution Records, which was a boot treasure trove. I don't know if it's still there (corner of 6th Ave. & 8th St.)
And of course, I have a few kind-hearted friends who would trade cassettes with me.

I have a mailing list which goes out about once every 2 months or so to a variety of mainly US based Beatles fans (many of whom are previous eBay customers), in which I offer original Beatles/solo bootleg CD's. Labels include Walrus, Yellow Dog, Strawberry, Vigotone as well as many others. I used to sell these on eBay until it got impossible (they kept cancelling auctions and ultimately I was thrown off - but not because I was a dishonest seller: see my profile 'koenh2'). Prices are usually in the $25 region for a single CD, although various difficult import titles (Japanese Voxx for instance) are more expensive. Anyway if anyone is interested in receiving this list, email me at bootles@angelfire.com ... my most recent list was sent about 2 weeks ago and has an order deadline of Oct 18th, so if you ask for the list before then and choose before then I can have ordered items in stock about a week later.
