Indeed, maybe it is good if we put some more signals here like you also did. I have this bootleg, but for others it could have been very interesting. Perhaps usethis topic for it in case of bootlegs.

Exactly my thoughts... this topic can become the official ebay information link. Maybe we can have separate ones for cd's, videos, books, etc.

True. Are you after any of his cd's or certain ones in particular? I wondered if there was involvement from George on any of his other work (if you are familiar with it)?

Looks like it ended with 5 bids at about US$45. I'm sure there'll be another one offered some time in future anyway. Now is the best time to bid on ebay because trading has really died down over the last couple of months. I wish I didn't have a huge airfare that I need to save up for!

I have a (e-)mailing list which goes out about once every 2 months or so to a variety of mainly US based Beatles fans (many of whom are previous eBay customers), in which I offer original Beatles/solo bootleg CD's. Labels include Walrus, Yellow Dog, Strawberry, Vigotone as well as many others. I used to sell these on eBay until it got impossible (they kept cancelling auctions and ultimately I was thrown off - but not because I was a dishonest seller: see my profile 'koenh2'). Prices are usually in the $25 region for a single CD, although various difficult import titles (Japanese Voxx for instance) are more expensive. Anyway if anyone is interested in receiving this list, email me at bootles@angelfire.com ... my most recent list was sent about 2 weeks ago and has an order deadline of Oct 18th, so if you ask for the list before then and choose before then I can have ordered items in stock about a week later.

A warning or hint; currently CD's of e.g. Harrison and Wilburys are for auction at Ebay.
CD combinations of 2 albums. Like Extra Texture/Gone Troppo on I CD.
Prices are round $ 40.
These CD's are also at BaltCD for prices much less, mainly round $ 19

I did some bidding on the following CD. Finally 10 SECONDS before closing I was outbid.
Well, not such a disaster whereas I have all the tracks already, including those additonal ones, but is was a collector's item, so just bad luck.
George Harrison Alternative Somewhere in England cd, this is NOT a CDR. Has only been played twice, disc and seevenotes are in immaculate condition. This album was originally due for release on the 29th October 1980. However, at the last minute it was withdrawn by Warner Bros. who requested that he 're-work it a bit'. In the meantime, release plans were cancelled, despite the fact that the album had already been anounced, pictured and detailed in the companys November 1980 new release booklet. The revised album, with new cover, slighhtly different arrangements and 4 new songs finaly appeared in 1980. This is the ORIGINAL SOMEWHERE IN ENGLAND in the original running order and with the FOUR UNREALEASED HARRISON TRACKS Flying Hour, Lay His Head, Sat Singing, Tears Of The World. Also includes 15 other UNRELEASED LIVE TRACKS performed on the Carl Perkins special in 1985, these performances also included Ringo, Eric Clapton as well as Carl himself. The tracks are as follows... 1) Hong Kong Blues 2) Writings On The Wall 3) Flying Hour 4) Lay His Head 5) Unconciousnness Rules 6) Sat Singing 7) Life Itself 8) Tears Of The World 9) Baltimore Oriole 10) Save The World BONUS TRACKS (live) 11) Everybodys Trying To Be My Baby 12) Your True Love 13) George And Carl In Discussion 14) The World Is Waiting For Sunrise (perkins, unreleased) 15) That's Alright 16) Blue Moon Of Kentucky 17) Night Train To Memphis 18) Amen 19) Glad All Over 20) Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On 21) Gone, Gone, Gone 22) Blue Suede Shoes 23) Blue Suede Shoes (reprise) 24) Honey Don't 25) Johnny B. Good

It is the Interview CD which came out in association with the recent re-release of all things must pass!
It was never made available to the GENERAL PUBLIC! It is a PROMO ONLY RELEASE!!! (THIS MEANS VERY FEW OF THESE WERE EVER ISSUED & THEY ARE DEFINITELY COLLECTIBLE)
The CD features a 26-track 12:16 conversation with George Harrison about the project.
The script for the program is included in the full color booklet.
This is an outstanding Beatles Related Collectible!!!
