I saw a bootleg somewhere with various rare solo performances and one of them is a performamnce just before the recording of Shanghai Surprise, with George doing Johnny B Good with Denny Laine, ELO and the Moody Blues.

Any info on that?

The only info I have is that's from The Moody Blues at the heartbeat concert - 15 march 1986 in Birmingham.

Here's what info I have on that date:

The event was organized by ELO drummer Bev Bevan in hope to raise money for Birmingham Children's Hospital. Performing alongside Led Zepplin's Robert Plant and Denny Laine, formerly of the Moody Blues and Wings, George shared lead vocals on "Money" and "Johnny B. Goode".

Right, got it now, George joined in the all-star finale and it was videotaped by BBC and shown on BBC1, August 2.

Thanks Legs and Bearkat. I will be buying that CD and let you know what it sounds like.
