Has this boot ever existed? It was supposed to have been made in a Hamburg record-your-voice booth in 1961.
Fever/Summertime
It is said to feature John,Paul, and George(Beatles),along with Lu Walters and Ringo(Hurricanes).
I'd love to have a copy if it exists.

You know Tim, I'm starting to wonder about this myself. It is not found in supposedly complete recording guides, yet I've always heard one copy exists. Ringo seems to insinuate in Anthology that even THEY couldn't find a copy. Anyone else? And wasnt Ringo sitting in that day in Germany?

The ony reference i've found is in Shout!
Ringo was drumminmg on it,as one of 2 members of Rory Storm and the Hurricanes on the record(the other being Lu Walters).

I'll have to look that up in the Anthology book. Can't remember if Ringo names the song, but it sure seems like he means the 'mit Wally' session. Wasn't there another song also recorded?

I have a taped copy of that disc that my grandfather, who was a merchant sailor picked up in hamburg in 1962. It has pretty decent recordings of Fever and a very bluesy sounding Summertime.
