Beatles on Tonight Show!!

I just got e-mailed by NBC http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif and they asked me if I knew of anyone who had a copy of John and Paul on the Late Show from 1967. This is what they wrote:

Man, that brings back memories. I have a really old bootleg LP with the audio of the interview. I think they went on there primarily to get some press for Apple. The quality was really bad. I've seen pictures from the appearance, but I'm pretty sure I don't have the video.

Thanks Jerry. I sent them to a website that has screen caps of the show. Hopefully they have it. That is my goal now! To find a copy for myself lol.

I wish I had a copy of it also. I remember watching it when it originally aired. Joe was rather inept at interviewing John and Paul.

As far as I know, knowing a bit about Carson and the Tonight Show,the tapes of J &P's show were destroyed...by NBC! Even Carson said he regrets this. One individual FILMED it off their TV, and most all photos are from this.
