Looks like just another compilation CD of "Get Back" sessions that have already been released. But you never know, there could be some "new" stuff in there.

Speaking of the "Get Back" sessions, I listened to it today and it's GREAT! Hearing the added speaking parts and camera directions was fun. If I get a chance for another boot, I already have one in mind. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

I have to apologize, but for the most part I hate the GB/LIB sessions-mainly because you are witnessing ther destruction oif the Beatles.
I do have bnoots I got from Napster,yes(the Rooftop Concert on 1 21 MB file,the 1st version of the aborted GB LP,Commonwaelth,Short Fat fanny,Negro In Reserve,No Pakistasnis,Ger Raus,and Watching Rainbows),but that's mostly all I want.

Yes I realise that this is an old topic, and no-one expect an answer anymore,(which raises the point, how could the bootleg forum ever have existed without me) but I have bought it awhile back (at the time of release in 2001, when I wasn't here) and I had im mind to review it, but not sure if I should/would, so this is a short review.

As the release number gives away (YD 078), it's a Yellow Dog bootleg. Should you buy it, not if you have the Day By Day series obviously, this was released when Yellow Dog still were releasing new volumes of the Day By Day series, and to earn some easy money they put mixed some old material together with songs that were new at the time, but which they were going to release later on the Day By Day set, the bastards!

If however the Day by Day series is to much for you, and you just want a nice compilation this one is for you. The sound quality is as always excelent, this is the easiest way to get a version of Love Me Do from the Get Back sessions on cd, and the song colection is good, nice complete songs.

I have nothing more to say.
