Well, there is a complete set of 9 CDs that looks exactly like this. I don't know if this guy only has 1 CD, or if he's trying to sell them all 1 at a time. You should definitely find out. The 9 CDs together are a sweet collection. If you liked the official BBC release a few years ago, then just imagine 9 full CDs of the same thing. The sound quality varies from broadcast to broadcast, but you just can't go wrong if you get all of them. I definitely wouldn't buy just 1 though.

Actually, the more I look at the picture on eBay, the more I realize what it is. It looks like it's only 1 CD from The Beatles' very first appearance on radio. It's got the 3 songs they played (I think there were only 3), and then it's got the rest of the show that includes other groups. But I can assure you that these 3 songs plus about 2500 more (ok, not that many) are on the entire set of 9 CDs. If you've got the cash, get them all.

ok..I e-mailed him and this is what he said :

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Tahoma, Arial, Sans-Serif">quote:</font><HR>This is the TENTH CD.
After the 9CD box with book
the Great Dane did this 10th CD just a year later.
This because this show was in the original material that Great Dane got in the London BBC studio's.
Because this 10th CD contains an important and nice part of the Beatles story,
Great Dane decided to made it anyway.
But they did it later, after little less than a year from the issue of the 9CD box.
The 9CD box is about IMPOSSIBLE to be found (now).
If a copy will come out, the price will be very BIG.
I actually have many copies (all NEW) of this 10th CD,
that's why I can sell it for the prices You know.

The complete title and under title on the CD is:

THE BEATLES, THE COMPLETE BBC SESSION
"THE BEATLES - HERE WE GO, March 12, 1963
by Great Dane records GDRCD 9326/10

As You see the label number is THE SAME
of the 9CDs from the box (9326/1 to 9)
but this is 9326/10
.. JUST THE TENTH CD

If You have the rare 9CD box,
Your RARE box IS UNCOMPLETED
because there is also this TENTH CD
and You need it to complete, to REALLY COMPLETE,
Your BBC SESSION CD collection.

I hope everything is clear to You now.

The condition of the Cd is NEW / UNPLAYED;
CD cover (double fold out) and the inset
ARE ABSOLUTELY in CONDITION NEW.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

He also only accepts cash. I really don't like the idea of sending cash and he is in Europe so I don't think I'm going to get this unless it's something I shouldn't pass up. If any of you want this, I can give you his address....and his site.

Not exactly what I was thinking this would be. If it had been the 9CD box set, I would try for it. Oh well, maybe if I can find the 9CD set, I'll try for disc 10 then.

So this is the 10th CD in the set? That makes a lot more sense. I'm not even sure if I need it though. I mean, the 3 Beatles songs were definitely on the original 9 CD set. I'm pretty sure that's their first BBC appearance, so they're actually the first 3 songs on Disc 1 of 9. Anyway, weren't 1 or 2 of those songs on the official 'Live At The BBC' also? I guess it might be worth it to really complete the set I have. But then again, you're sending cash to Italy. All in all, I don't think it's worth it for just another copy of the same 3 songs with the other groups' stuff added.

The 9 CD set was definitely the final word on the subject. Yes, the official BBC release had better sound and stuff, but you can't go wrong with 9 CDs. I do remember a bootleg out there at one point that had newly discovered stuff that wasn't on the 9 CD set. But that was also only a few songs, so I didn't get it...yet.

You're right. I guess the eBay Police found the guy's auction and shut it down. Bootleggers live a hard life.

Ok, I was wrong about this CD. This disc is actually a 10th CD that DOES belong with the original 9 CD set. The 3 songs here were NOT from their first BBC show. In fact, I was way off. It was "discovered" after the box set was released. So I guess I do need it.
