do you know if there are any bootlegs are the Beatles' tv appearances and press conferences? i would love to get my hands on those.

I don't know about bootlegs, but vee-jay released an interview album called, 'Hear The Beatles Tell All' which is pretty good if you're an interview listener.

Of course! Usually, the live bootlegs try to include any relevant interviews or press conferences on there too. There are also many bootlegs of TV appearances, like the Ed Sullivan shows, or early British appearances. And don't forget the BBC recordings. If you like the double CD "Live At The BBC" that was officialy released, there are about 10 more CDs where that came from. They appeared on the BBC tons of times, and some dude had the brains to sit down and tape almost all of them. The quality is pretty good, and the selection of songs is great. Stuff they never played live or anywhere else. The best thing is that there's no crowd noise at all. It's just the four of them playing live in the BBC studio.
