I was wondering if there is anyplace where I can get free Beatles "bootlegs" (i.e. concerts , rooftop gig , outtakes etc) in MP3 form for free , is there such a thing? I do have a few MP3's from Napster to trade , but I'm pretty much a rookie at things like that

Well, there are a number of sites in the Bootlegs category that offer MP3 and other files for download, and there are a few where you can trade CDs too. As for Napster, I'm assuming some people have bootlegs on there. That's about as free as you're gonna get.

Unless you win the monthly contest, like I did last month. You win a free bootleg of your choice. You can be sure I'll try again next month!!! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif

Jerry, are you going to tell him, or should I?
Only, I've said it already.

If you need mp3s, go to Napster.com or Scour.com.

Last I heard, Napster had been granted a stay of operations-shutdown until the trial... has that changed?

No, I use Napster very often, and it is still working! They are allowed to stay open through the trial.
